In the 13th minute of the match Dino Pimenta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor de Senna skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th minute, Pinho's Cauã Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tostão de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barraos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tostão de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor de Senna having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cícero Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, Barraos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Mota to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Seco during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barraos FC! The referee gave Pinho a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dino Pimenta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barraos FC's João Vítor de Senna. 2-1. After 65 played minutes Pinho got a freekick which was hit by Noel Leal. Cícero Mello was a little too slow when Benjamim Velasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Benjamim Velasco struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cícero Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barraos FC. Cícero Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Mendes in the 76th minute. Barraos FC's Benjamim Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Pinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Cauã Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor de Senna was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Benjamim Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cícero Mello came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamim Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 87th minute. Renato Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cícero Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamim Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cícero Mello. That made the score 2-5 in the 93 minute of play. After 96 played minutes Pinho got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Pimenta. The long shot by Deivid Palmeira in the 97th minute really tested Cícero Mello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Barraos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
