Porto Velho EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porto Velho EC's Ramón do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Ramón do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asensio Molina to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Asensio Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porto Velho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asensio Molina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
