In the 16th minute, Pedro Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Eger in the 20th minute of the match. If Roi Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aninim EC's Zézinho Cearense got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Juvenal Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Paulo Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Roi Valverde might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roi Valverde ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute of the match Carapanatuba FC got a corner. Aninim EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dida Monteiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dida Monteiro made a great header on Carapanatuba FC's corner, it was just that Aninim EC's Juvenal Fernandez managed to reach the ball for a save. Dida Monteiro succeeded in the game's 29th minute to get real power on a long shot . Aninim EC's Juvenal Fernandez hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! A collision led to Aninim EC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emílio Britto hit a great ball. Roi Valverde struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Juvenal Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carapanatuba FC. João Augusto Mattos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Trancoso. Léo Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Carapanatuba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aninim EC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roi Valverde to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Carapanatuba FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Goiano. After some careless play in the Carapanatuba FC defense, Guto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Trancoso. The Carapanatuba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Trancoso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Mattos in the 66th minute of play forced Carapanatuba FC's goalkeeper Léo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Aninim EC booed when Carapanatuba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Aninim EC's Emílio Britto in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Carapanatuba FC's Cristiano França got a free kick in the 71st minute. Emílio Britto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léo Trancoso. Carapanatuba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roi Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Juvenal Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guto Lopes in the 78th minute. Léo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Mattos in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Eger got free with Léo Trancoso in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Carapanatuba FC's goalkeeper Léo Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Lopes. Guto Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Léo Trancoso made a huge save. The Carapanatuba FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aninim EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
