Thanks to some nice moves Adelino Berger could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Rafinha Leal however easily saved by the left post. Chico Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rafinha Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Cearense having to interfere. Gildo Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibúrcio Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes, Patrick Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RENOVÇÃO F.C and the Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adelino Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Silva in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Leal saved Barcelona from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Tibúrcio Loyola fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Chico Silva took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Leal. Rafinha Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Adelino Berger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafinha Leal having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, RENOVÇÃO F.C's goalkeeper Gildo Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Xavier. Chico Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Xavier in the 87th minute. Barcelona's Rafinha Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Silva in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, one of RENOVÇÃO F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RENOVÇÃO F.C. Tales Baptista walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 99th match minute, Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibúrcio Loyola to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barcelona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RENOVÇÃO F.C.
