Caio Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Dracena in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Pachecao EC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubens Catarinense made a kick off. Ismael Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Pachecao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Faria to maneuver through the defense.
