The supporters of Itacamba AD booed when Pedrinhos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Adhemar Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itacamba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedrinhos AD the free kick. In the 18thth minute of the game Gustavo de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itacamba AD's Giovani Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavinho Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorginho Souto could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Gustavo de Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Nascimento was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Giovani Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedé Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Giovani Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Itacamba AD's Olívio Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 96 in the game by Fred Gonçalves from a close distance when the talented Giovani Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. Itacamba AD's players were relieved. Renatinho Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Pedrinhos AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
