With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Paraense in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Souza saved CEPE F.C. from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Profecias United FC's zone, Luís Eduardo Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
