In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rampa's goalkeeper José Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Rampa got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Hoffmann. Alessandro Viana scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celsinho Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Falcão was the one to do the kick off. Rampa had played much better football throughout.
