In the 13thth minute of the game Rahim Öge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangalot A.C's Ian Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Wanderson de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidos do Timbalaie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangalot A.C the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Unidos do Timbalaie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, João Adolfo Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangalot A.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Mangalot A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Mangalot A.C got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Ceresso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Öge in the 25th managed to get into a good position. Mangalot A.C's Ian Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ian Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahim Öge, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Unidos do Timbalaie booed when Mangalot A.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unidos do Timbalaie's Renato Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Favoretto in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, João Adolfo Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Unidos do Timbalaie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When David de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Unidos do Timbalaie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Rahim Öge put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Massa. In the 66th minute, Rahim Öge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, David de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ian Massa. David de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. When Tony Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Unidos do Timbalaie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Mattos couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 75 in the game by Rahim Öge from a close distance when the talented Ian Massa managed to make a qualified save. Mangalot A.C's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Öge in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Massa saved Mangalot A.C from getting behind. David de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ian Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Mangalot A.C got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Mendonça. In the 83rd match minute, Mangalot A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Ian Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Öge in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mangalot A.C's Ian Massa got control of the ball when Rahim Öge tried to sneak it across the goal line. David de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Massa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Öge in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rahim Öges short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Ian Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Unidos do Timbalaie played a much better game than Mangalot A.C and deserved their victory. The Mangalot A.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
