After 27 played minutes Rubineia AD got a freekick which was hit by Raí Amaral. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Nilmar Cabral put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pedrinho Guimarães. In the 36th minute, Nilmar Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaguadarte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 43rd minute, Raí Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Cabral in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basílio Rodrigues to make the kick off. Basílio Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Jaguadarte getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nilmar Cabral hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Carlos Rocha during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Jaguadarte got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Rocha. In the 73rd minute, Basílio Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rubineia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. 79 minutes into the match, Jaguadarte's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Rodrigues came free, but Eliézer Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play Rubineia AD's Raí Amaral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Jaguadarte booed when Rubineia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Tristan Llinares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedrinho Guimarães. The goal made the score 2-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Llinares in the 95th minute of play forced Rubineia AD's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Tristan Llinares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedrinho Guimarães, 2-8.
