After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Wanderson Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRITO's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Wanderson Proença recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnaldo Palmeira. Wanderson Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marcos Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester United F.C's Arnaldo Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Proença in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United F.C's zone, Marcos Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Palmeira came out of the goal and Marcos Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Beto Rodrigues in the 33rd minute really tested Arnaldo Palmeira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marcos Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arnaldo Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Vinhas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Manchester United F.C getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Donato Brasil hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United F.C's zone, Wanderson Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Palmeira came out of the goal and Wanderson Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerson Vergílio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BRITO getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Dráuzio Guimarães hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Manchester United F.C's goalie and right to Adhemar Cabral. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Manchester United F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wanderson Proença took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Palmeira. Arnaldo Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marcos Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Palmeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. When Wanderson Proença came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the BRITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Proença couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanderson Proença went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnaldo Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the BRITO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
