Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Hamburgo AD's Alexsandro Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee showed Richard Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, one of Cruzilia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cruzilia. 8 minutes in the game, Alexsandro Cunha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adalberto Mendes having to interfere. Alexsandro Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luan Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fernando de Toledo sped through Cruzilia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Mendes. Paulão Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Madureira in the 21st minute of the match. Cruzilia's Enéas Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luan Saldanha got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Cruzilia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Luan Saldanha hit a great ball. Paulão Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Madureira in the 31st minute of the match. Erasmo Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paulão Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dorival Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzilia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando de Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Adalberto Mendes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th minute Erasmo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. Cruzilia's Erasmo Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Otávio Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamburgo AD and the Cruzilia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Elder da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredo Lago hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Erasmo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paulão Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamburgo AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzilia the free kick. A collision led to Hamburgo AD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leonel Pombal hit a great ball. If Dorival Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hamburgo AD could leave the field as winners, despite Cruzilia having more of the ball for most of the match.
