Laerte Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Madureira in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Madureira in the 11th minute of play forced Nataliense FC's goalkeeper Laerte Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adalberto Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Nataliense FC's Adalberto Mendes threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Figueiredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26thth minute of the game Edmílson Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzilia's Adalberto Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laerte Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Enéas Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Laerte Brodel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Nataliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Ceresso came free, but Laerte Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cruzilia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
