Quirambu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ururahy the free kick. Dráuzio Souto hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Cafu Velasco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quirambu's Ramón de Brito. Ramón de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tião Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tião Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Dionísio Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ururahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quirambu the free kick. After 13 played minutes Ururahy got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Tinoco. Ediberto Pimentas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Leonel Ramalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 21 played minutes Ururahy got a freekick which was hit by Tião Medeiros. Leonel Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Pimenta in the 22nd minute. With 24 minutes on the clock, Enrique Marquez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 24 minutes into the game, one of Ururahy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ururahy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Leonel Ramalho stood somewhat misplaced when Ediberto Pimenta came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Leonel Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ururahy's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz came free, but Leonel Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionísio Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ediberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quirambu's Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ururahy's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Ururahy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cesinha da Cunha hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Ururahy got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Tinoco. Quirambu's Sidnei Cardozo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ururahy. Ururahy's Leonel Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Dionísio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ururahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionísio Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Ururahy's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Pimenta came free, but Leonel Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cesinha da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ururahy's protests and gave Cesinha da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Cesinha da Cunha hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quirambu booed when Ururahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz in the 88th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ururahy's Leonel Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cafu Velasco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sidnei Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Ramalho. Ururahy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Quirambu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ururahy for a fine match.
