Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Acoriana FC's Olavo Breckenfeld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olavo Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alfredão Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã da Cunha in the 12th minute of play. Narciso Netto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Paulo José Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapeipu's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Olavo Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Acoriana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Olavo Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matheus Faria was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Acoriana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã da Cunha came free, but Alfredão Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Breckenfeld in the 25th minute of play forced Itapeipu's goalkeeper Matheus Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Acoriana FC's Narciso Netto got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Paulo José Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Acoriana FC's zone, Paulo José Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Terra came out of the goal and Paulo José Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Paulo José Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acoriana FC's Alfredão Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Dário Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acoriana FC and the Itapeipu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Acoriana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Damião to maneuver through the defense. If Cauã da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Faria was a little too slow when Olavo Breckenfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some careless play in the Itapeipu defense, Olavo Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matheus Faria. The Itapeipu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matheus Faria should have stopped the shot. In the 47th of the match, Olavo Breckenfeld tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Matheus Faria got in the way and made a wonderful save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo José Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. When João Carlos de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acoriana FC's protests and gave João Carlos de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Itapeipu's Gilson Mumbach shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredão Terra but with some difficulty. 65 minutes into the match, Acoriana FC's goalkeeper Alfredão Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauã da Cunha. Olavo Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Matheus Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Itapeipu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Velasco to maneuver through the defense. If Olavo Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Paulo José Figueiredo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfredão Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Figueiredo in the 96th minute of the match. Acoriana FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
