Gilvan Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fabicano FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Vítor Furtado hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gilvan Palmeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Alberto de Lara however easily saved by the left post. Fabicano FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Aníbal Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Alberto de Lara, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Carneiro in the 22nd minute of play forced Fabicano FC's goalkeeper Alberto de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aníbal Carneiro sped through Fabicano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto de Lara. Alberto de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Carneiro in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Aníbal Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Vítor Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Gilvan Palmeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto de Lara. Fabicano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Palmeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 47th minute, Gilvan Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. When Taciba's Aníbal Carneiro in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Aníbal Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taciba's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabicano FC's Alberto de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Palmeira in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Palmeira in the 92nd minute of play forced Fabicano FC's goalkeeper Alberto de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Taciba's Gilvan Palmeira made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Taciba were the better team. Taciba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
