An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Ortiz in the 29th minute of play forced Patrocinio SS's goalkeeper Tiaguinho de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The All Star players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patrocinio SS were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duarte Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to All Star getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Armandinho Lopes hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, Ernesto da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olívio Brito. Ernesto da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Oscar Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Olívio Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto da Fonseca in the 59th minute of the match. Hugo Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Cearense hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Oscar Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Olívio Brito made a huge save. Oscar Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Olívio Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho de Sena came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by All Star's Duarte Ortiz. But to his dismay, Duarte Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto da Fonseca in the 78th minute of play forced All Star's goalkeeper Olívio Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Patrocinio SS booed when All Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olívio Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto da Fonseca in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Ismael Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Star and the Patrocinio SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto da Fonseca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olívio Brito. That made the score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. Patrocinio SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
