Gerson Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Koehler having to interfere. Armando Pontes hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Clóvis Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. João Adolfo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Silas Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Gerson Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forma Conceitos's João Adolfo Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Vinhas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Adolfo Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Clóvis Vinhas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Forma Conceitos's João Adolfo Koehler. João Adolfo Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luís Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Koehler having to interfere. Irajai AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Forma Conceitos's zone, Gerson Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Koehler came out of the goal and Gerson Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Pontes to make the kick off. Irajai AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
