Dito Valadares hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Lucas Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pangarés FC the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Rossi having to interfere. Yuri Nunes made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Christiano Antunes sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes in the game, Régis Neves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yuri Nunes having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Christiano Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Yuri Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Neves in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Neves came free, but Yuri Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christiano Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Régis Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pangarés FC's Yuri Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Antunes in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Neves in the 56th minute of play forced Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Yuri Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo's Christiano Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Antunes in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Régis Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Régis Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Yuri Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuri Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Carlos Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Rossi having to interfere. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Pangarés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Antunes in the 88th minute of play forced Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Yuri Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiano Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yuri Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flamengo's Christiano Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flamengo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
