Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 10) Glucinio's Sérgio Tróia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Acácio Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aluísio de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Han Solo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Glucinio's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eliézer Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Tróia in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Couto saved Parambu FC from getting behind. Parambu FC's Edmundo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Solo in the 15th minute of play. Charles Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Tróia in the 25th minute of play forced Parambu FC's goalkeeper Edmundo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Cláudio Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Parambu FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Parambu FC's Acácio Leão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute Sérgio Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edmundo Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Parambu FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Belmiro Novaes hit a great ball. When Parambu FC's Luiz Alagoano in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glucinio's goalie prevented a goal. Belmiro Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Faustão Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Luiz Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Aluísio de Brito. Glucinio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Acácio Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Aluísio de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Glucinio got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Correia. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Couto was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Leão got free with Aluísio de Brito in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmundo Couto came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Glucinio's Faustão Trancoso. But to his dismay, Faustão Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After having played for 89 minutes, Luiz Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parambu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Han Solo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Parambu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
