Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Washington Gaúcho took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Washington Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Agnaldo Vidal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruninho Novaes. The goal made the score 1-0. Luís Fernando Alvarenga scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro do Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapuruqua EC's Luís Fernando Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Wellington Faustino came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Uacorisal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Faustino couldn't finish the play. Uacorisal FC's Ramiro do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Cruz in the 23rd minute of play. If Wellington Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapuruqua EC's Luís Fernando Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Alvarenga in the 31st minute of play forced Uacorisal FC's goalkeeper Ramiro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Cruz in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tapuruqua EC's Washington Gaúcho got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ramiro do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tapuruqua EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! After the first half Tapuruqua EC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu Pirani was the one to do the kick off. Aleandro Sabóia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tapuruqua EC's Pedro Paulo Machado tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão da Mata in the 57th minute of play forced Uacorisal FC's goalkeeper Ramiro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Uacorisal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Cruz came free, but Ramiro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Pirani struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bruninho Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uacorisal FC. In the 65th minute, Luís Fernando Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapuruqua EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Ramiro do Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Elias Britto sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fernando Alvarenga succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-5. Uacorisal FC's Ramiro do Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Uacorisal FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Cruz in the 75th minute of play forced Uacorisal FC's goalkeeper Ramiro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Novaes having to interfere. When Uacorisal FC's Frederico Pombal in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapuruqua EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute Aílton Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Gaúcho in the 82nd minute of play. Tapuruqua EC's Bruninho Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Vidal in the 83rd minute of play. Wellington Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruninho Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Washington Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Uacorisal FC's Ramiro do Nascimento got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramiro do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Cruz in the 92nd minute of the match. Ramiro do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Britto in the 93rd minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Washington Gaúcho took a quick shot and it went in 2-7 without a chance for Ramiro do Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Tapuruqua EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Uacorisal FC throughout the match.
