Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zé Carlos Neves got the match started through his kick off. Nuno Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Xavier having to interfere. Jordao's Amadeu Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Neves in the 11th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Zé Carlos Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jordao's Amadeu Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zézinho Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dráuzio Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Saldanha scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráuzio Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Preguica EC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Mota came free, but Dráuzio Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Breno Matos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jordao's protests and gave Breno Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preguica EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jordao the free kick. If Breno Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Saldanhas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Dráuzio Xavier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Preguica EC's goalkeeper Dráuzio Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Matos. Breno Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jordao's Breno Matos got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Mesquita got free with Amadeu Albuquerque in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Xavier having to interfere. Duda Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Nuno Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlinhos Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Zézinho Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jordao's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, Preguica EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dráuzio Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Nuno Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Saldanha took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Xavier. Dráuzio Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jordao's Nuno Saldanha got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Nuno Saldanha off the ground. After 83 played minutes Jordao got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Saldanha. Zézinho Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dráuzio Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcus Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Jordao's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Neves came free, but Amadeu Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jordao players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
