Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pojuca AD's Behzat Tutku started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Behzat Tutku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Salles having to interfere. Behzat Tutku charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behzat Tutku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Behzat Tutku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Gildo da Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélder Salles, 1-0. Romeu Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romeu Britto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Behzat Tutku in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Taraqua's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo da Rocha came free, but Hélder Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Taraqua's zone, Behzat Tutku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Salles came out of the goal and Behzat Tutku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes of play, Pojuca AD's Behzat Tutku made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélder Salles was a little too slow when Romeu Britto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gildo da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pojuca AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gildo da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Adalberto Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Salles having to interfere. Behzat Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hélder Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu Britto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Geraldo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Netto having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Arthur Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taraqua and the Pojuca AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Taraqua got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Soeiro. In the 72nd minute, Taraqua's Geraldo Carneiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcinho Netto. Marcinho Netto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. 6-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Behzat Tutku elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Igor Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Pojuca AD's Behzat Tutku sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Behzat Tutku struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hélder Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pojuca AD. The audience was convinced that Behzat Tutku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Salles was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Arthur Linares made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Netto. Pojuca AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. A collision led to Pojuca AD getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Romeu Britto hit a great ball. Taraqua's Faustão Ramalho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcinho Netto but with some difficulty. Pojuca AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
