Cauan Favoretto didn't quite understand what happened when in the 32 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 33 minutes into the match, Oséas de Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adilson Dias, 1-1. Ipumirim FC's Felippe da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felippe da Silveira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Felippe da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Montese AD's Claudinho Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe da Silveira in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joélson Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipumirim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Luiz Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Gilvan Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montese AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipumirim FC the free kick. Felippe da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felippe da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sílvio Luiz Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Ipumirim FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montese AD throughout the match.
