Kauan de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Sá in the 60th minute of play. Vivaldo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Cayambe's Kauan de Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo de Barros got free with Kauan de Carvalho in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelo de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Ribeiro during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
