Wanderson Teixeira's late challenge caught a Laeti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. Wanderson Teixeira hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Tiago Gabriel Matorin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filipe Albuquerque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 12th minute Luizão Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Perivaldo Souza came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Laeti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perivaldo Souza couldn't finish the play. Mamoi's Tiago Gabriel Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mamoi from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Laeti defense, Luizão Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Cruz. The Laeti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luiz Cruz should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Chicão Sarmento notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mamoi's Tiago Gabriel Matorin. Tiago Gabriel Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th match minute, Laeti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luiz Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Laeti's Pedro Luiz Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Salles in the 32nd minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Chicão Sarmento notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mamoi's Tiago Gabriel Matorin. Tiago Gabriel Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Laeti's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Falcão came free, but Pedro Luiz Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Falcão in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Benê Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Mamoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Leal to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benê Falcão was the one to do the kick off. Benê Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laeti's Pedro Luiz Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Laeti from getting a goal against them. Chicão Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mamoi's Perivaldo Leal got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mamoi's Tiago Gabriel Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Souza in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luizão Vaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Luiz Cruz. That made the score 3-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th minute Perivaldo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Laeti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Matos to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Benê Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamoi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Laeti's Pedro Luiz Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Falcão in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Perivaldo Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laeti's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benê Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Luiz Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Vaz scored 3-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luiz Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiago Gabriel Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chicão Sarmento went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
