After a defensive mix-up in Miriri SS's zone, Jano Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Reis came out of the goal and Jano Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chico Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chico Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Reis having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Edson Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conde's Dadá Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Conde from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Miriri SS defense, Gerson da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho Reis. The Miriri SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho Reis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Miriri SS's zone, Gerson da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Reis came out of the goal and Gerson da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Benedito Cardozo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Miriri SS's Rubinho Reis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldão Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Conde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Perivaldo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Conde's Gerson da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miriri SS's Rubinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Penha in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Benedito Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conde's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miriri SS's goalkeeper Rubinho Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rubinho Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedito Cardozo in the 61st minute. Conde's Dadá Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Marinho in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Evaristo Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Maciel ran back to his position shaking his head. When Conde's Benedito Cardozo in 78 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rubinho Reis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 89thth minute of the game Benedito Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miriri SS's Rubinho Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rubinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Penha in the 94th minute of the match. Chico Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Dadá Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Félix in the 96th minute of play. Conde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
