Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Xavier started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes, Imburo's Edmílson Damião shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Valle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imburo reached it. Imburo's Durval Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armando Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Araioses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Xavier in the 14th minute of play forced Araioses's goalkeeper Felipe Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Valle made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Durval Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Imburo's César Toledo got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Araioses's Belmiro Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute Belmiro Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Imburo! Felipe Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Xavier in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Araioses's Felipe Valle got control of the ball when Durval Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durval Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belmiro Félix made a kick off. Vito Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Goiano in the 55th minute. When Imburo's Durval Paiva in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Araioses's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gabriel Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araioses's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Toledo was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 71st minute Araioses were awarded a corner. Aílton Faustino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Araioses's Belmiro Félix to fire away a dangerous shot which Vito Pirani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Imburo booed when Araioses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Félix in the 81st minute of play forced Imburo's goalkeeper Vito Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belmiro Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vito Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Belmiro Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Hugo Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Pirani having to interfere.
