Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar Moreno to make the kick off. Los Angeles FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Willian Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Guto Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Geovânio de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Willian Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reliquia EC played a much better game than Los Angeles FC and deserved their victory. The Los Angeles FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
