Mauriti's Matheus Eger got his second yellow card of the match in the 8th minute. The referee ordered Matheus Eger off the ground. After 9 played minutes Mauriti got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Eger. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Velloso during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Mauriti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Velloso to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Moisés Antunes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mauriti's Cipriano Prado. Cipriano Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 25 minutes, Rômulo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mauriti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moisés Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Prado having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Mauriti's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Sabóia came free, but Cipriano Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Mauriti got a freekick which was hit by Frank de Medeiros. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coady SC! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Mauriti. Danilo Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edinho Lucas. 2-1. Moisés Antunes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 40 in the game by Moisés Antunes from a close distance when the talented Cipriano Prado managed to make a qualified save. Mauriti's players were relieved. Edinho Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo de Souza's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Moisés Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Edinho Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rômulo de Souza made a kick off. Bernardinho Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Prado having to interfere. Mauriti's Cipriano Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Sabóia in the 55th minute of play. Rômulo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fabiano Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Lucas having to interfere. If Nilson Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Rômulo de Souza in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Coady SC's Moisés Antunes in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mauriti's goalie prevented a goal. Edinho Lucas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nilson Dias sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Moisés Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coady SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Nilson Dias hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Coady SC's William Jacinto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rômulo de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Edinho Lucas made a huge save.
