Belmiro Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Peres in the 12th minute of the match. Róbson Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Renan Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Mangueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Paulo Renato Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Destroyers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Madureira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Augusto Mangueira saved Jacus from getting behind. Claudinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Augusto Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Destroyers FC's Raimundo Teixeira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 78 minutes, Paulo Renato Madureira made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jacus's Pedro Augusto Mangueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jacus! There was no doubt that Destroyers FC were the better team. Destroyers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
