Juarês Figueiredo was slow to take the kick. During this time C.R. FLANALDO's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on C.R. FLANALDO's corner Juarês Figueiredo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jardel Mumbach quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dadá de Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Dadá de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel Mumbach having to make a save. Jardel Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá de Lima in the 80th minute of the match. Tiago Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Moenda's zone, Matías Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Mumbach came out of the goal and Matías Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Moenda's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá de Lima came free, but Jardel Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
