In the 18th match minute, C.R. FLANALDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Passos's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Tiago Porto took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Saraiva. Cipriano Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Reinaldo Diniz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Dadá de Lima made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Clube de regatas Ajax's Cipriano Saraiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Dadá de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match, Dorival Passos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Narciso Mota saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Cipriano Saraiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 85 played minutes C.R. FLANALDO got a freekick which was hit by Dadá de Lima. In the 88thth minute of the game Dorival Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.R. FLANALDO's Narciso Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Clube de regatas Ajax fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.R. FLANALDO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
