When Moenda's Henrique da Rocha in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stalinista SC's goalie prevented a goal. Magno Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalmo Bezerra in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Stalinista SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adalmo Bezerra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 13 played minutes Stalinista SC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Alcântara. In the 17th minute, Henrique da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magno Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Válter Cardozo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Magno Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalmo Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalmo Bezerra in the 26th minute of the match. Magno Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalmo Bezerra in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Stalinista SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Adalmo Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Botelho having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adalmo Bezerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Válter Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Botelho having to interfere. Magno Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stalinista SC's Magno Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalmo Bezerra in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Stalinista SC booed when Moenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatello Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Mumbach having to interfere. Magno Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalmo Bezerra in the 78th minute of the match. Moenda's Válter Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Stalinista SC defense, Adalmo Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno Botelho. The Stalinista SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno Botelho should have stopped the shot. Adalmo Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Magno Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moenda. Moenda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stalinista SC for a fine match.
