Fiori de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramón Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Brejetuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Lara hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ramón Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Fiori de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Douglas Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Batista in the 41st minute of the match. Rubens Rocha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Benê Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Neiva in the 47th minute of play forced Fusão Norte FC's goalkeeper Douglas Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Ramón Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. Fusão Norte FC's Douglas Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Neiva in the 51st minute of play. Pedrinho Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. Rubens Rocha hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Dagoberto Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejetuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benê Neiva in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Batista scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Mandrak in the 73rd minute of the match. When Brejetuba's Benê Neiva, in the 78th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Brejetuba. Brejetuba's Pedrinho Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Brejetuba's Pedrinho Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Pedrinho Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brejetuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Paulo Machado's late challenge caught a Fusão Norte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Brejetuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Machado to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Serginho Donato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Quintal skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Fusão Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Machado came free, but Douglas Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Brejetuba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fusão Norte FC throughout the match.
