Donatello Leal came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Clube Caracas-city's Adriano Krake. But to his dismay, Adriano Krake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Afonsinho Montenegro's late challenge caught a Sport Clube Caracas-city's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Sport Clube Caracas-city left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rafaga F. C..
