Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Túlio Paraíba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gurjao's Vânderson Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles de Brito in the 3rd minute of play. After 10 minutes, Jaime Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurjao and the Fangueira AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Gurjao got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Senna. Túlio Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Baptista having to interfere. Agenor Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Rosa in the 20th minute of play forced Gurjao's goalkeeper Vânderson Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Agenor Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurjao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agenor Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Fangueira AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Rosa in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Natanael Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fangueira AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurjao the free kick. After 33 played minutes Fangueira AD got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Esteves. Túlio Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Baptista having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Fangueira AD's Gustavo Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Túlio Paraíba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Percy Baptista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Charles de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vânderson Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernani Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Vânderson Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles de Brito in the 59th minute of the match. Vânderson Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Túlio Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gurjao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Paraíba couldn't finish the play. Gurjao's Agenor Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles de Brito in the 68th minute of play forced Gurjao's goalkeeper Vânderson Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão Nogueira hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gurjao's Vânderson Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gurjao from getting a goal against them. When Jaime Senna was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 78 played minutes Gurjao got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Senna. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Túlio Paraíba during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Túlio Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gurjao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charles de Brito 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Vânderson Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Gustavo Rosa sent off a good shot on target.
