Murillo Corrêa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Paulão Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vágner de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Figueiredo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Braunal's zone, João Augusto Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Corrêa came out of the goal and João Augusto Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Murillo Corrêa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirapuita FC's João Augusto Ortiz. But to his dismay, João Augusto Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vitório Vides might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Vides ran back to his position shaking his head. Braunal's Luciano Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vágner de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Corrêa having to interfere. In the 45th minute João Augusto Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ibirapuita FC's João Augusto Ortiz in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braunal's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório Vides to strike the kick off in the second half. João Augusto Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Murillo Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Valério Paes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 66 played minutes Braunal got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Rosa. After a rather tough play, Braunal's Luciano Figueiredo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vágner de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Corrêa having to interfere. Murillo Corrêa was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and João Augusto Ortiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Augusto Ortiz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A collision led to Braunal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luciano Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, João Augusto Ortiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murillo Corrêa. The goal made the score 0-4. Vágner de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Murillo Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braunal's Murillo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Ortiz in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Braunal's goalkeeper Murillo Corrêa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Paulão Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braunal and the Ibirapuita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Braunal got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Messias. Murillo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Ortiz in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ibirapuita FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
