Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria França started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, one of Caiary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caiary. Caiary:s José Augusto Damião showed great skill when he stopped Osvaldinho Garcia:s penalty. José Maria França struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Wiliam Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiary. Raí Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lamounier's zone, Ricardo Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Koehler came out of the goal and Ricardo Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria França, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wiliam Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Alcântara in the 26th minute of the match. José Augusto Damião stood somewhat misplaced when Bernardo de Sena came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Bernardo de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Damião having to interfere. Caiary's José Augusto Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Caiary from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, one of Caiary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. José Augusto Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo de Sena's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Leandro Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Leandro Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Maria França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Lamounier's goalkeeper Wiliam Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Alcântara. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria França in the 60th minute of play forced Lamounier's goalkeeper Wiliam Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamounier's Bernardo de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lamounier's Leandro Ortiz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If José Maria França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that César Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Damião was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. José Augusto Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo de Sena's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Lamounier's César Magalhães made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Alcântara came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wiliam Koehler could save by the left post. The supporters of Caiary booed when Lamounier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria França in the 80th minute of play forced Lamounier's goalkeeper Wiliam Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caiary's José Augusto Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Magalhães in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Lamounier's Wiliam Koehler got control of the ball when Ricardo Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiliam Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria França, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Caiary's José Augusto Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo de Sena in the 92nd minute of play. Rodrigo Furtado hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. José Augusto Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo de Sena in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Bernardo de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamounier's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lamounier were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caiary for a fine match.
