The referee ignored Realengo F.C.'s protests and gave Orlando Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Realengo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Paulista to maneuver through the defense. When Fabiano Teles came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rebirth F.C. fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Realengo F.C.'s protests and gave Paulo Costa a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the game, one of Realengo F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luiz Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Linhares went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Robinho Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiaguinho Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Dantas made a kick off. Fabiano Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Reginaldo Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Fabiano Teles came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Rebirth F.C. fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Dantas in the 89th minute of play forced Rebirth F.C.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Nelson Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Ramone. Rebirth F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelson Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Rebirth F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Realengo F.C..
