Mojeiro's Adrianinho Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo de Queiroz in the 3rd minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Salles in the 10th minute of play. Zeca Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adrianinho Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrianinho Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Thomás Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Lopez went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Renato Salles struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Luiz Gustavo Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojeiro. After 43 played minutes Marcelo got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Carvalho. Igor Lopez struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. The wind increased when Erasmo de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo's Luiz Gustavo Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís da Mata in the 51st minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mojeiro's Adrianinho Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mojeiro from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Leandro Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Salles in the 71st minute of play forced Marcelo's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Lopez scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Gustavo Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Erasmo de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mojeiro fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Mojeiro's Renato Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 90 played minutes Mojeiro got a freekick which was hit by Luís da Mata. 94 minutes into the match, Marcelo's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lopez came free, but Luiz Gustavo Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mojeiro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marcelo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
