Igor Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Castro having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Dráuzio Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that José Augusto Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Castro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Itaquerense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Tales da Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Igor Castro, making the score, 0-2. Durval Freitas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th play minute José Augusto Carneiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Igor Castro. 1-3. Paratory SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
