The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Eduardo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Dracena in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiano Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Eduardo Fonseca. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Christiano Dracena was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luís Eduardo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Raiz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Vidal to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 33 in the game by Jakob Võsa from a close distance when the talented Luís Eduardo Fonseca managed to make a qualified save. Raiz FC's players were relieved. After 35 played minutes Raiz FC got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Cavalcante. Perebas FC's Ture Öman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Bastos in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Róbson Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raiz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perebas FC the free kick. 45 minutes into the match, Perebas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Loyola came free, but Ture Öman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Christiano Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raiz FC's Luís Eduardo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Loyola made a kick off. Luís Eduardo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Võsa in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Võsa in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Fonseca saved Raiz FC from getting behind. If Christiano Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christiano Dracena scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Christiano Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Perebas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Dracena couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Raiz FC defense, Christiano Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Fonseca. The Raiz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Christiano Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Võsa in the 86th minute of play forced Raiz FC's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Perebas FC booed when Raiz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Perebas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
