Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gernando Abraão started the match with the kick off. If Gernando Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Afonso Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brodosqui SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Motta in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo dos Santos saved Brodosqui SC from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Fao EC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Bueno. A collision led to Fao EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edmundo Alagoano hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Edmundo Alagoano fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Erivaldo dos Santos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Bueno got free with Erivaldo Azevedo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 played minutes Brodosqui SC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Koehler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Abraão in the 41st minute of play forced Fao EC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lúcio Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brodosqui SC's protests and gave Lúcio Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Percival Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Afonso Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Fao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Abraão came free, but Erivaldo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brodosqui SC's Erivaldo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Motta in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Edmundo Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Erivaldo dos Santos made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Brodosqui SC's goalkeeper Erivaldo dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Alagoano. Gernando Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Erivaldo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Motta in the 78th minute of play. Afonso Bueno took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erivaldo Azevedo. Erivaldo Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Gernando Abraão got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Erivaldo Azevedo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brodosqui SC had won after a very even match.
