Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir Vidal in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léo Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Liberdade Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Dante. Luiz Fabiano Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th play minute Léo Chaves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Fernando Tavares. 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Caio Albuquerque recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Fernando Tavares. Caio Albuquerque showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Luiz Fernando Tavares made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Léo Chaves sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fabiano Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Albuquerque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fabiano Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Liberdade Futebol Clube booed when AFX Capital was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Vidal in the 32nd minute of play forced AFX Capital's goalkeeper Júlio Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Albuquerque. AFX Capital's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFX Capital's Gugu Lara got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Caio Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFX Capital's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Valdir Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liberdade Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fabiano Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Albuquerque having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fabiano Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Júlio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Vidal in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Albuquerque saved AFX Capital from getting behind. Luiz Fabiano Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Júlio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luiz Fabiano Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Caio Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the AFX Capital fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Liberdade Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Chaves came free, but Luiz Fernando Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Liberdade Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Flávio Mangueira hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, AFX Capital's Dorival de Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Tavares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFX Capital reached it. Valdir Vidal struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Júlio Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberdade Futebol Clube. AFX Capital's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luiz Fabiano Barros 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. If Caio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Gugu Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFX Capital had won after a very even match.
