After the first half Beruri AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juarês Romero made a kick off. José Reis's late challenge caught a Beruri AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, José Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Capalazia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tibúrcio Tande hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Beruri AD's Fellipe de Medeiros in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Dida Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquinho Carioca's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Capalazia's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo da Mata came free, but Dida Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Prestes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Chiquinho Carioca sent off a good shot on target. Dida Prestes was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Clemente Trigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Trigo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Chiquinho Carioca scored 0-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Carioca in the 88th minute of the match. Dida Prestes stood somewhat misplaced when Chiquinho Carioca came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 92 minute. When the final whistle sounded Beruri AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Capalazia.
