Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caio Barros took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vitório Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Maranhense in the 3rd minute of play. Maneco FC's Almir Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Vágner Matos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitório Loyola skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th minute, Natã Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Figueiredo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Nogueira saved Maneco FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Maneco FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Couto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Couto got free with Jacinto Nogueira in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Montanha EC booed when Maneco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jacinto Nogueira made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Natã Vander elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Egídio Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montanha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Figueiredo to make the kick off. Egídio Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Nogueira having to interfere. Jacinto Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer de Alcântara hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Percy Toscano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitório Loyola skillfully saved the ball. Egídio Couto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montanha EC. In the 71st minute, Luís dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Vides, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Montanha EC's Zacarias Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Egídio Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 93rd minute, Egídio Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Montanha EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
