Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doriva Lopez kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Rubro Oeste MZ's Davi Pontes got control of the ball when Andrézinho Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Arlindo Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araguari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubro Oeste MZ the free kick. Arlindo Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Rubro Oeste MZ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Agenor Figueiredo hit a great ball. Doriva Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Araguari's Geovânio Rosa got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Fellipe Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Rubro Oeste MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. If Amauri de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zé Carlos Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fellipe Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gilberto Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Rubro Oeste MZ's Zé Carlos Magalhães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Davi Pontes was a little too slow when Andrézinho Eger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fellipe Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubro Oeste MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st match minute, Araguari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Negri to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Macedo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 54 minutes, Geovânio Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguari and the Rubro Oeste MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rubro Oeste MZ booed when Araguari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Pontes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Araguari's Tadeu Negri got a free kick in the 60th minute. With his leg Gilberto Macedo managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Rubro Oeste MZ's Zé Carlos Magalhães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute, Amauri de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Davi Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Eger in the 74th minute of the match. Davi Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatello Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Andrézinho Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Geovânio Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos Magalhães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Macedo, 1-3. Zé Carlos Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Geovânio Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Davi Pontes. Rubro Oeste MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
