Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Saldanha started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Carire SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Pradel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Cardoso having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Agudoss FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Pradel came free, but Hélder Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Bonifacio Pradel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Agudoss FC's Hélder Cardoso got control of the ball when Ezequiel Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinho Sampaio's late challenge caught a Carire SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute of the match, Ezequiel Dante got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hélder Cardoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Celsinho Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carire SC's Hugo Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Saldanha in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Pradel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Pradel in the 51st minute of play forced Agudoss FC's goalkeeper Hélder Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Agudoss FC's Acácio Maciel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Acácio Maciel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Agudoss FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Acácio Maciel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 60 minutes into the match, Agudoss FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Pradel came free, but Hélder Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Pradel in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Agudoss FC defense, Bonifacio Pradel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Cardoso. The Agudoss FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Cardoso should have stopped the shot. If Armindo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Bonifacio Pradel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carire SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Pradel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Agudoss FC's Celsinho Paulista got a free kick in the 78th minute. Hélder Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bonifacio Pradel charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Pradel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Carire SC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Pradel. Ezequiel Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hélder Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Dante in the 93rd minute of play forced Agudoss FC's goalkeeper Hélder Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Carire SC were the better team. Carire SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
