The supporters of Vergasta FC booed when Tardelli Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Samuel Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vergasta FC's Faustão Prata got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Luís Fábio Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tardelli Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Clodio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Tardelli Team's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Fernandez came free, but Eurico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes, Tardelli Team's Dadá Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Clodio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tardelli Team reached it. In the 24th minute Samuel Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Samuel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Joel Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Favoretto in the 31st minute of play. Samuel Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Eurico Donato when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Joel Clodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Eurico Donato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. Joel Clodio made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when José Pedro Furtado sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Samuel Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Joel Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Proença in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Vergasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Prata. Joel Clodio was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Murilo Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murilo Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 66th minute, José Pedro Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Clodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Tardelli Team getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luís Fábio Paulista hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Bueno in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Donato saved Tardelli Team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Tardelli Team's Rubinho Proença slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Clodio. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. After 86 played minutes Tardelli Team got a freekick which was hit by José Domingues. Eurico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 91 minutes, Rubinho Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tardelli Team and the Vergasta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eurico Donato having to make a save. A collision led to Tardelli Team getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Almir Aguiar hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Samuel Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Donato. Tardelli Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Vergasta FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tardelli Team's performance. The match ended with a win for Tardelli Team.
